In today’s age we are living proof that something is wrong with humanity. The drive that forces many each day is for self and not for the world. Leaders are starting to realize that change is good and imperative. This company by the name of Thread, has started working with other companies to help economy growth, in third world countries. One of the countries that they are working with is Haiti.
Haiti, who has been through a lot of downs, is being introduced and taking the opportunities to see ups. People are willing to work with what appears to be hopeless, to give life to. And Thread is building with Haiti and Timberland to create shoes with recycling materials that makeup fabric. It spreads awareness of healthy living and putting it into action. Who would of thought that you can wear footwear that is made out of recycling plastic bottles. Well, Thread figured it out and is using its awareness to help be the change that world needs to become.

Fashion is evolving in creative ways as to using its creative aesthetic to help clothe the poor and change the cycle of poverty with many fashion designers. Thread partnered with Timberland and small businesses in Haiti to recycle the plastic bottles that creates a new Timberland line. What a collaboration, and team work.
The awesome part of it is that everyday is a day to become better. Thread is helping create jobs with this brilliant idea that was brought to Timberland and the small business in Haiti.
